DN Journal posted a list with the 20 biggest domain sales since they started tracking the domain aftermarket in the fall of 2003. This does not include the pending sale of Sex.com for $13 million. It also does not include many sales that have prices that are kept private or are are not verified.
The top five domain sales were:

- Porn.com for $9,500,000
- Diamond.com for $7,500,000
- Slots.com for $5,500,000
- Toys.com for $5,100,000
The top 6-10 domain sales were:
- Clothes.com for $4,900,000
- Vodka.com for $3,000,000 (Tie)
- Candy.comfor $3,000,000 (Tie)
- Shopping.de for $2858,950 (€1,960,000)
- CreditCards.com for $2,750,000
The Top 11 to 15 domain sales were:
- Computer.com for $2,100,000
- Seniors.com for $1,800,000
- Fly.com for $1,760,000
- Dating.com for $1,750,000
- Auction.com for $1,700,000
The top 16 to 20 domain sales were:
- DataRecovery.com for $1,659,000
- Ticket.com for $1,525,000
- Russia.com for $1,500,000 (Tie)
